Cmde Hari PR selected for the post of Chairman & MD of GRSE
PESB interviewed four other applicants apart from him in the selection meeting including Mr. Venkatesh Murthy M, Chief General Manager of GRSE.
New Delhi: Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Saturday 26, 2022, recommended the name of Cmde Hari PR IN RETD for the post of Chairman & Managing Director, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE), one of India's leading shipyards, Currently he is serving as, Director (Personnel) in the same company.
PESB interviewed four other applicants apart from him in the selection meeting including Mr. Venkatesh Murthy M, Chief General Manager of GRSE.
Apart from them Mr. Jagmohan, Director (Corporate Planning, Projects & Business Development), Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL), Mr. Anirudh Prasad Singh, General Manager, Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL), and Mr. Dhiren Vig, Rear Admiral, Navy were also interviewed in the meeting.
Moreover, Cmde Hari PR can assume the charge of the post, after the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) nod.
Back in 2019, Commodore PR Hari took charge as Director (Personnel) of GRSE. Prior to this he was serving as the General Manager in the same organisation.
Talking about his educational background he holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Defence & Strategic Studies. Moreover, he is also an alumnus of the Defence Services Staff College and the Naval War College.
