PESB approves recommendations for PSU sectors

The Public Enterprise Selection Board (PESB) has selected Trailukya Borgohain for the post of Director (Operations) at Oil India Limited (OIL), a Schedule ‘A’ PSU. Borgohain, currently Chief General Manager (Geology & Reservoir) at OIL, will assume his new role after Pankaj Kumar Goswami’s retirement on October 1, 2024, subject to necessary clearances and ACC approval.

Santosh Sinha has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) until his superannuation on September 30, 2027.

Sinha, currently Executive Director (Projects and Services) at Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR, will take over a post that has been under an ad hoc arrangement since a fatal ceiling collapse involving former MD Arun Kumar Shrivastava in February 2022 left the CWC without a permanent head.

PESB also selected Mritunjay Pratap Singh as the next Director (Operations) of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), another Schedule ‘A’ PSU. Singh, currently Principal Executive Director at RVNL, will step into the vacant role after receiving requisite approvals.

Rajesh Rana has been chosen as Director (Commercial & Marketing) of India Tourism Development Corporation Limited (ITDC), a Schedule ‘B’ PSU. Rana is currently the General Manager of Catering Services at Indian Railway Catering And Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) and will take over the vacant position following clearance from ACC.

For National Fertilizers Limited (NFL), Mahesh Chander Gupta has been picked as Director (Marketing). Gupta, who is currently Chief General Manager (Business Development – Gas) at Indian Oil Corporation Limited, will assume the role after receiving the required approvals.
