NEW DELHI- Exceeding expectations of human spirit & endurance, the team of ONGC’s Rig Greatdrill Chetna achieved extraordinary meterage of 1170 m in 24 hours of drilling with an oil base mud system on 22.12.2022.

GD Chetna is the only HPHT rig operating in India’s Western Offshore.

Rig GD Chetna has been deployed in Well D_33G to primarily explore the hydrocarbon potential of Panna. With the aforementioned feat, it surpasses the meterage achieved by Rigs Sagar Kiran & Jindal Supreme.
