ONGC IDT, Dehradun won ‘Golden Peacock National Training Award’ for 2022

New Delhi: ONGC Institute of Drilling Technology, Dehradun won the prestigious ‘Golden Peacock National Training Award’ for 2022.

The award was presented by GPA Secretariat on 22 July, during IOD’s “31st World Congress on Leadership for Business Excellence and Innovation”.

The Institute of Drilling Technology (IDT) was set up in 1978 at Dehradun, engaged in relentless effort in R&D and has rendered excellent services in the area of oil and gas well drilling technology. IDT provides its techno-economic expertise & solutions to various field problems faced by various services of ONGC with the ultimate objective to promote cost effective E&P activities of the company.

Besides R&D, the institute also imparts training & disseminates the knowledge required for developing a qualified and efficient workforce capable of delivering, through the ONGC Training Academy.
