ONGC enhancing E&P drastically; also foraying into Green Energy
Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri reviewed their projects & steps to increase production.
New Delhi: Driven by PM Sh Narendra Modi’s vision of energy self-sufficiency by 2047, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) is taking steps towards enhancing E&P drastically while also foraying into Green Energy. Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri reviewed their projects & steps to increase production.

GoI’s steps towards access to good quality data, improving ease of doing business, providing a friendly contracting regime & increasing acreage by reducing no-go areas are already showing positive results.

This includes frontier blocks with limited well/data coverage & untested deepwater for exploration.
