ONGC Drills First Well Under OALP Regime

New Delhi: ONGC pioneers “Deep Water Exploration 2.0" in the East Coast with Director (Exploration) Sushma Rawat spud the well MNDW181H-B-1 in Mahanadi Basin Deepwater Block.

The first of its kind under the OALP regime, the well has been drilled by the mighty drillship West Polaris.

On this, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural has appreciated and stated that it makes happy that ONGC spuds the first well under the OALP regime, MNDW181H-B-1 Well in Mahanadi Basin Deepwater Block.

"Continuous efforts are being made under PM Narendra Modi’s leadership to make the E&P regime investor friendly and efficient" said Minister.
