Oil India Ltd’s Western Fields Department secures Gold Award by Green Enviro Foundation
The Western Fields Department, Oil India Limited was awarded the ‘Gold Award’ in the “Best Safety Equipment in Petroleum Exploration Sector” category at the 1st Annual Green Enviro Safety Awards 2025 organized by Green Enviro Foundation, dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability, held at New Delhi.
While presenting the award, the Green Enviro Foundation appreciated the efforts put by the Western Fields Department in ensuring the safety of its employees during the years 2024-25.
The award was received by Shri Kunal Borah, Dy. CE (P-WF) & Mines Safety Officer (Western Fields Mine) and Shri Ripon Jyoti Gogoi, Sr E (P-WF) from Ms. Rimjhim Kumari, Founder and Director, Green Enviro Foundation and Mr Vivek Srivastava, Director General of Fire Service, Civil Defence & Home Guards, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India in the presence of other prominent dignitaries.
