Observance of Vigilance Awareness Week By AAICLAS
New Delhi: Central Vigilance Commission the apex body of vigilance of the country had announced the Observance of Vigilance Awareness Week Celebrations from 28th Oct 2019 to 2nd Nov 2019 and the theme for this year is “Integrity– A way of life”. In this connection, AAI Cargo Logistics and Allied Services Ltd. (AAICLAS) A 100 % Subsidiary of AAI has commenced the Vigilance Celebrations by taking the Integrity Pledge on 28-10-2019 at AAICLAS, Offices Complex, New Delhi. The pledge was administer by Sh. Keku Bomi Gazder, CEO-AAICLAS where all senior officers of company Sh. K.Selvakumar, COO, Sh. Ranjit Kumar Das, CFO, Sh. Rajesh Chawla, Jt.GM-HR were also present in the function. During the inaugural address Sh. Gazder stressed the need to follow the pledge at their workplaces and daily life also. All the officials and staff of AAICLAS posted at CHQ observed the Integrity Pledge.
During the observance of VAW, Quiz contest, National Unity Pledge, Run for Unity etc. were organized for the employees. Sh. O.P.Khurana AGM (Cargo) was the coordinator for conducting the programmes. As a part of the event, a workshop on “Functions of Vigilance, Complaint Handling & Vigilance Angle” was aslo organized on 1 Nov 2019 for the awareness of officials of AAICLAS. Shri S.N.Borkar, General Manager (Vigilance) from AAI, Corporate Vigilance Deptt. New Delhi sensitized the officials about the Vigilance mechanism in the session. Approx. 32 participants from different disciplines attended the workshop.
Sh. Keku Bomi Gazder, CEO-AAICLAS called upon all employees in the concluding ceremony of the Vigilance Awareness Week 2019 to work without fear or favour and keeping the interests of the AAICLAS and the nation as the primary objectives.
