NTPC Renewable Energy accepts loan bid of Rs 7500 crore of IRFC Ltd to finance Rupee Term Loan
The state-run Railway Financing arm has informed that IRFC Limited’s bid of Rs.7,500 crores for financing of a Rupee Term Loan (RTL) against the Request for Proposal of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPCREL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NTPCGEL), has been accepted.
According to the filing, this is to inform you that NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NTPC GEL), has accepted IRFC’s bid for Rs.7,500 crores to finance a Rupee Term Loan (RTL) against the Request for Proposal (RFP) NREL/FA/RFP/2024-25/IRFC/02 dated 17.01.2025.

The proposal is subject to further due diligence and approval of Board of Directors and finalisation of detailed sanctioned terms with NTPC REL, it added.
Shares of the company were trading down by 0.024% at Rs 124.75 at the time of closing.
