NTPC Placed Largest order ever on GeM till now
Government e-Marketplace (GeM) has achieved a staggering Rs 1.5 lakh crore of Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) in FY23 alone.
New Delhi: The Largest order ever placed on GeM till now ~ Rs 20,400 Crore by NTPC under Mine Development & Operations Service (MDO), a unique category used for the first time on GeM.
With this, GeM surpassed the GMV milestone of Rs 1.5 lakh crore in FY 2022-23, 2 months sooner than the FY end!
As on February 1st 2023, the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) has achieved a staggering Rs 1.5 lakh crore of Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) in FY23 alone. Going by the current run rate, GeM is suitably placed to exceed its annual target of Rs 1.75 lakh crore.
In the last ~6.5 years, GeM has revolutionized the ecosystem of public procurement in the country through technology, the digitization of processes, the digital integration of all stakeholders, and the use of analytics.
