NTPC Independent Directors Visit Tapovan Vishnugad Project
Shri Jitendra Jayantilal Tanna, Shri Vidyadhar Vaishampayan, and Ms. Sangitha Varier, three Independent Directors reviewed the ongoing activities at the Vishnugad Hydro Power Project.

New Delhi: Independent Directors of NTPC visited the site and reviewed progress of Tapovan Vishnugad Project in Uttarakhand on 13th-14th October 2022.
Shri Jitendra Jayantilal Tanna, Shri Vidyadhar Vaishampayan, and Ms. Sangitha Varier, three Independent Directors reviewed the ongoing activities at the Vishnugad Hydro Power Project.
They visited prominent locations at the Barrage, Head Race Tunnel, DBM Portion site, Power House, and TBM Portal site and provided valuable inputs to the Tapovan Team during the interaction.
Independent Directors planted saplings at ‘Smriti Udyan’ in the township and paid tribute by offering prayers at Shramik Smriti Smarak at Barrage Site in the memory of the deceased workers of the flash flood crisis in February 2021.
