NTPC Coal Mines bagged Star Rating Awards
Total 384 coal mines of India competed for the prestigious star rating award. Out of these 43 coal mines were bestowed with the 5 Star rating.
New Delhi: Talaipalli and Dulanga Coal Mines of NTPC Mining Limited (NML) were awarded with 5 Star Rating for the year 2022-23
The awards were given by Hon'ble Minister of Coal and Mines, Govt of India, Sri G. Kishan Reddy & Hon'ble Minister of State for Coal and Mines Shri Satish Chandra Dubey to Shri Shivam Srivastava, Director (Fuel), NTPC Limited, Sri Animesh Jain, CEO NML, Shri AS Yadav, Head of Project ,Talaipalli & Shri BR Prasoon, Head of Project Dulanga at the Annual Star Rating of Coal Mines award ceremony held on October 21,2024, Delhi.
These awards are testimony to NML's path in carrying out sustainable mining practices to achieve Atmanirbharta in coal requirement of NTPC and Country as a Whole.
