underscoring NTPC’s foundational role in powering India and its journey toward sustainability. The event highlighted NTPC’s impressive achievements and outlined its future ambitions for India’s energy landscape.

The day’s ceremonies began with a flag-raising by Shri B.S. Rao, Regional Executive Director (West-I), alongside senior officials, employees, and members of the Sakhi Mahila Samiti. The NTPC Geet filled the air, evoking unity and pride among all present. As the organization celebrates 50 years, NTPC’s journey is defined by its growth from a single power plant to a diversified portfolio, establishing itself as the backbone of India’s energy infrastructure.

Reflecting on NTPC's incredible journey, Shri Rao paid tribute to the visionary leadership of the company’s founders, including the founding Chairman, and other pioneers who laid the foundation for the institution. He added, “NTPC symbolises 50 years of powering growth and our resilience has made us a strong-performing company. As the quest continue to power the future of India, the steady addition to our Renewable Energy footprint, including Nuclear, underscores our ambition to create a sustainable future with infinite possibilities.”
