The Quality Circle team of Operations Deptt "Team Excel" of O&M Department NTPC Bongaigaon won the Gold category award in QCFI 32 Chapter convention held at Madurai. A total of more than 100 teams from different PSUs and Private organizations participated in the convention held recently.
The team consisted of Shri Dilip Kumar Pakre (Facilitator), Shri Abdul Khalid (leader), Animesh Halder (Dy. Leader), Kwmdwn Basumatary (Member), Gokul chandra Roy(Member) and Ramratan Barman (Member)
NTPC has expanded the concept of Quality Circles (QC) beyond the project plants and corporate structures. In alignment with NTPC's firm belief that knowledge strengthens the community; more than 30 quality circles are actively operating in identifying various community problems and providing viable solutions, in various villages near its stations.
QC members are given training on QC Techniques, communication skills and stage oration and encouraged to take part in state / national level QC competitions.
