NTPC Bongaigaon has been conferred with the esteemed CSR Health Impact Award 2024 under the category of Child Health System Strengthening Project (Rural) for its dedicated efforts in Tuensang District, Nagaland. This accolade recognizes NTPC Bongaigaon's ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and its focus on uplifting rural communities and enhancing the quality of life as a responsible corporate entity.
The award was presented by Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Former Union Minister, at a ceremony held in Delhi, where Shri Shubham Pandey, Law Officer, NTPC Bongaigaon, accepted the honor on behalf of the 750 MW power station. This recognition highlights NTPC Bongaigaon's initiatives to bolster healthcare services and infrastructure in rural areas, with a particular emphasis on child health.

The award celebrates NTPC Bongaigaon’s efforts to design and implement sustainable projects that address pressing health challenges in underserved communities.
In his remarks, Shri Akhilesh Singh expressed his appreciation to the CSR and HR team at NTPC Bongaigaon for their dedication and hard work. He noted that this recognition highlights the station's commitment to driving impactful CSR initiatives that bring about positive change and improve community well-being.
