NMDC shares uplifted by 1 percent as production rises 17 percent in November
New Delhi: The Shares of state-run mining giant NMDC Ltd. were trading with gains of as much as 1% in Monday 's session after the iron ore miner released its provisional numbers for production and sales for the month of November. Production during November 2024 increased 17% to 4.51 million tonnes, compared to 3.84 million tonnes in November 2023. Sales were also up 5.5% at 4 million tonnes as against 3.79 million tonnes last year.

The board of NMDC has already issued two free shares for every one share held by its shareholders as on the record date.
Shares of NMDC are currently trading 0.29% higher on Monday at Rs 230.74. The stock has corrected 19% from its recent peak of Rs 286.35.
