NLCIL signs MoU with IIM Nagpur for capacity building training programs

NLC India Limited (NLCIL), a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Coal, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management Nagpur (IIM Nagpur), a renowned business school in India known for its rigorous academic programs.

The MoU aims to focus on "Capacity Building" for NLCIL's senior executives. The residential training program will enhance their competencies and leadership skills, driving continuous improvement in quality management systems.

The MoU, signed on 10.01.2025, at the Regional Office in Chennai, will remain effective for three years. It will enable NLCIL to provide customized training to 150 senior executives annually.

The MoU was signed by Shri K. Prabhu Kishore, Executive Director / Corporate Communications, Learning & Development Centre and CRM, NLCIL, and Prof. Mukund Vyas, Dean of Executive Education Programmes at IIM Nagpur.

Also, present at the signing were Shri A. Kr. Saravanabhavan, General Manager, Learning & Development Centre; Shri K. Pandiyan, Deputy General Manager, LDC representing NLCIL; and Prof. Prashant Gupta, Dean of Faculty, Academics & Alumni Affairs, representing IIM Nagpur.
