NLCIL introduces free special bus service for intellectually challenged school children

In an effort towards augmentation of these facilities, on December 20, 2024, during the function held as part of the “National Day of the Intellectually Challenged”, NLCIL CMD Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli had announced a dedicated bus service for students of the Sneha Opportunity School which would be operational from January 2025 ensuring ease of transportation for students from outside Neyveli Township. This free dedicated transportation facility would ensure that the special students coming from peripheral villages can commute safely and conveniently.
Read Also : Servotech Renewable Power System Limited for Q3FY25This free transportation facility was launched today, January 21, 2025 by Sri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD of NLC India Limited by flagging off the bus service in the presence of Smt Radhika Motupalli, President, Sneha Opportunity School; Shri Samir Swarup, Director/HR and Shri DVS Narayana Murthy, ED/Legal, CSR & NLC Hospital.
The Principal & Committee members of Sneha Opportunity school, Senior officials of NLCIL, Children and parents participated in this event.
This gesture not only alleviates difficulties faced by parents and students but also reinforces NLCIL's commitment to empowering marginalized communities.
