NLCIL distributes educational kits to special children in Chidambaram
NLCIL has been a driving force behind positive change in society through its robust CSR programs, aspiring to make a transformative contribution.
In line with this vision, NLCIL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department, the Neyveli Ladies Club and Women in Public Sector (WIPS), NLCIL jointly organised a program on 20-11-2024 to provide welfare assistance to the special children of G.V. Special School for the mentally retarded located in Chidambaram.

This Special School was started in 1990 and provides training and rehabilitation to the special children. Smt. Radhika Prasanna Kumar, President, Neyveli Ladies Club presided over the function. Patrons of Neyveli Ladies Club, Smt. Divya Suman and Smt. Chitra Venkatachalam participated in the event where Educational Kits consisting of School bags, notebooks, stationery items and sports materials were distributed to 106 special children of the G.V. Special School, Chidambaram.
