NLCIL bags its Second Commercial Coal Mine Block at Machhakata, Odisha
This is the second commercial coal mine block for NLCIL and the Company is committed to its capacity addition in line with the Corporate Plan.
NLC India Limited has emerged as a successful bidder for the Machhakata (Revised) Coal Mine in Angul District of Odisha after the commercial coal block E-auction held on 02.02.2024 by the Ministry of Coal.
The Coal Mine Block has a total coal reserve of 1377 Million Tonnes (approximately) with a peak-rated capacity of 30 Million Tonnes Per Annum.
This is the second commercial coal mine block for NLCIL and the Company is committed to its capacity addition in line with the Corporate Plan.
