NHPC Invites Bids for 600 MW Solar Park Development in Uttar Pradesh
The tender issued by NHPC Limited, under its joint venture Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited (BSUL), invites bids for the development of a solar power park in Madhogarh, Uttar Pradesh. The project involves boundary surveys, marking, chain-link fencing, and compound wall construction for the first phase of the 600 MW solar power park, which is part of the larger 1200 MW solar power project under UMPPRE.
The tender adopts a single-stage, two-part bidding system, with separate submissions required for the technical and financial bids. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 28.60 crore, with an earnest money deposit (EMD) requirement of Rs 43 lakh.
The bid document is priced at Rs 5,000, and the bid validity period is 120 days. Successful bidders will need to provide a performance bank guarantee (PBG) as specified in the tender documents. The project must be completed within 350 days from the issuance of the Letter of Acceptance.

Eligible bidders must qualify as Class-I Local Suppliers under the Public Procurement Policy and demonstrate both financial and technical qualifications. Bidders are required to have achieved an annual construction turnover of at least Rs 28.60 crore in any one of the past three years. Additionally, they should have completed similar projects in the last seven years, meeting one of the following criteria based on project value:
- One project valued at least Rs 22.88 crore,
- Two projects each valued at Rs 14.30 crore, or
- Three projects each valued at Rs 11.44 crore.
