NHPC Dibang under CSR enhances medical facilities in Dibang Valley District
The 2880 MW NHPC Dibang Multipurpose Project in Roing, Arunachal Pradesh, has made a significant contribution to enhancing medical facilities in the Dibang Valley District through its CSR scheme.
On February 4, 2025, the project donated an ultrasound machine to the Anini Government District Hospital. This donation is intended to support hospital doctors, particularly in their care for pregnant women in the district.
The inauguration was attended by Shri Mopi Mihu, Hon’ble MLA of the Anini Constituency, along with Shri Pagi Sora, APCS, Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Hangkham Tangjang, District Medical Officer, and officers from NHPC. Before this donation, patients from Anini and the surrounding areas had to travel 225 kilometers along a hilly road to Roing for ultrasound examinations.
