NHPC awards contract for development of 1000 MW Solar PV projects

NEW DELHI: The Indian Hydro Power Generation company NHPC has awarded an engineering procurement and construction contract for the development of grid-connected Solar PV projects (1000 MW Capacity) of worth around Rs. 6604.42 Crore.

The contract has been awarded to the three bidders including Adani Infra (India) Limited - 600 MW capacity in Gujarat,  SSEL-ASR JV - 100 MW capacity in Andhra Pradesh, and Tata Power Solar Systems Limited - 300 MW capacity in Rajasthan.

The transmission line for power evacuation to ISTS Sub-station along with Comprehensive O&M for 5 years under Tranche-III of CPSU scheme Phase-Il on 12th May 2022.
