New Delhi: The 3rd anniversary of NEP 2020 was celebrated in Kendriya Vidyalaya Neyveli on 26th July 2023 and a press meet was arranged. Mrs. N Valamathi, Principal briefed the benefits, significance and achievements in implementation of National Education Policy, 2020 in the Kendriya Vidyalayas including KV NLC Neyveli.

National Education Policy envisions a new educational system of India by bringing structural change in the curricular and pedagogical system by adopting 5+3+3+4 in the place of 10 +2 system and attains global knowledge superpower through bringing out unique capabilities and talents of each and every student.
She narrated how the components of National Education Policy 2020, like NIPUN (National Initiative for Proficiency) in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy, is facilitating to achieve FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy) at the foundational age of students before attaining grade 3.
