NCL to install Solar Pumps in 33 Gaushala of Singrauli
New Delhi: In a significant step towards sustainable development under CSR initiatives, NCL signed an MoU for the installation of Solar Pumps in 33 Nos. of Gaushala Established under Mukhyamantri Gau Sewa Yojna in Singrauli amounting to Rupees more than Sixty Lakh on Tuesday.
The MoU signed was between Shri V K Singh, Area General Manager, Dudhichua Area, and Shri Gajendra Singh Nagesh, Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat Singrauli (MP). This initiative will provide uninterrupted water supply even without electricity in these Gaushalas.
Notably, these Gaushalas will act as a central point for many environmental preservation activities, including generating and establishing biogas plants, Jeevamrut formulation, testing beds for organic farming and nutrition gardens, etc.
