Shri Sridhar Patra assumed the charge of Chairman-cum Managing Director of Navratna CPSE NALCO with effect from 17th December 2019. Before that, he has served as Director (Finance) of NALCO and THDC.

Shri Patra's leadership and guidance have been instrumental in shaping the Company's growth and success. The Company extends its heartfelt thanks to Shri Patra for his invaluable contributions and wishes him a fulfilling retirement.
Sridhar Patra released from his CMD services
The company in its regulatory filing inform that, on attaining the age of superannuation, Shri Sridhar Patra, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of the Company has been released from the services of the Company w.e.f. 31.10.2024 (AN).
Who is the Next CMD of NALCO?
PESB in September selected Brijendra Pratap Singh, currently the Director in charge of Burnpur and Durgapur Steel Plants at Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), as the next Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD) of National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO). As Sridhar Patra has been released from his services Brijendra Pratap will join immediately from Today, November 1, 2024.

Shri Sridhar Patra assumed the charge of Chairman-cum Managing Director of Navratna CPSE NALCO with effect from 17th December 2019. Before that, he has served as Director (Finance) of NALCO and THDC. He has been in the board-level position in CPSEs since 2013. Shri Patra is also the Chairman of the Board of the Joint Venture Companies of NALCO, viz. UADNL (JV of NALCO and MIDHANI) and KABIL (JV of NALCO, HCL and MECL).
