MMRDA awards civil work contract to J. Kumar Infraprojects
The Contract Period is 56 Weeks. The Awarded Value of the Tender is Rs. 99 crore.
In a significant step towards improving urban mobility in the Mumbai region, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has awarded a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) to M/s J. Kumar Infraprojects Ltd. The contract includes civil work at five elevated metro stations of Mumbai Metro Line-2B.
The nature of the order is to Design, supply, fabrication, and erection of pre-engineering building structural steel works and execution of internal & external architectural finishings, and plumbing works including interior fit-outs for 5 elevated stations viz. Diamond Garden, Shivaji Chowk, BSNL metro, Mankhurd & Mandale of Line 2B corridor [D.N. Nagar to Mandale] of Mumbai Metro rail project of MMRDA.

Kumar Infraprojects is in line with MMRDA’s plans for the rapid expansion of the Mumbai Metro Network to address the specific travel needs of the dynamic city and at the same time ensure the safety of passengers and sustainability needs of the infrastructure.
