Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL), a subsidiary of ONGC and a Schedule ‘A’ Mini Ratna, delivered a mixed financial performance in the third quarter of FY25 during its 267th Meeting held on January 20, 2025.
The company reported a net profit of Rs 309 crore, marking a sharp turnaround from the Rs 697 crore loss recorded in the previous quarter, despite a 12% decline in revenue to Rs 21,871 crore compared to Rs 24,968 crore in Q2 FY25.
Operationally, MRPL achieved a significant recovery with EBITDA at Rs 1,032 crore, compared to an EBITDA loss of Rs 474 crore in the prior quarter.
The EBITDA margin stood at 4.7%, underscoring the company’s improved operational efficiency. Revenue from operations stood at Rs 25,601 Crore in Q3FY24. Profit Before Tax is standing at Rs 469 Crore in Q3FY24.
