Metro Services Extended for Sunday's Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon
DMRC to serve metro service from 03:15 AM to facilitate participants of Vedanta Delhi half Marathon on Sunday.
New Delhi: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) in order to facilitate the participants of upcoming Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon to be held on Sunday, 20th October, 2024 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the Metro train services will begin from 03.15 AM from terminal stations of all Lines except the Airport Express Line and Grey Line i.e, Dhansa Bus Stand to Dwarka. On this Sunday, services on all Lines except those mentioned above will be available as per the following schedule:-

For the convenience and guidance of the participants, the organizers of the Marathon will also be deploying volunteers at specific Metro stations which include JLN Stadium, Jor Bagh, Janpath, Jangpura and Rajiv Chowk. The event organizer is sponsoring the cost of travel for to and fro moment to the event venue for the participants of Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon 2024.

For runners, to and fro Metro ride is free. Runners are advised to collect the wrist bands with special QR code alongwith their bibs from the organizers.
