MCL Signs MoU to Install Solar High Mast Lights in Govt. Schools of Bhadrak District
Under its CSR initiative, MCL will fund Rs 60 lakh for this project, which aims to provide sustainable lighting solutions and enhance security and learning environments in the school.
Sambalpur, 24 March 2025: Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) signed a MoU with the District Administration, Bhadrak for the installation of solar high mast LED lights in nine government schools of the district.
Under its CSR initiative, MCL will fund Rs 60 lakh for this project, which aims to provide sustainable lighting solutions and enhance security and learning environments in the school. Seven Odisha Adarsh Vidyalayas, one Kendriya Vidyalaya, and one Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya across Bhadrak district will benefit from this initiative.

The MoU was signed by Shri Bichitrananda Behera, GM (CSR), MCL and Shri Tanmay Ranjan Jena, Deputy Collector, Bhadrak, at MCL Bhubaneswar Office.
With this initiative, MCL reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development, ensuring better infrastructure for students.
