As a CSR initiative, MCL will fund Rs 17.03 crore to establish:
- 500 smart classrooms in Sambalpur, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh districts.
- 30 science STEM labs in Jharsuguda district.
New Delhi: In the August presence of Shri Satish Chandra Dubey, Minister of State Coal & Mines, Government of India, Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) has signed four MOUs with District Administration of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur and Sundargarh districts of Odisha and EdCIL Ltd for promotion of digital education in schools.
As a CSR initiative, MCL will fund Rs 17.03 crore to establish:
- 500 smart classrooms in Sambalpur, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh districts.
- 30 science STEM labs in Jharsuguda district.
