MCL and CCL bagged National CSR awards 2020

New Delhi: Coal India's two subsidiaries Mahanadi Coalfields Limited & Central Coalfields Limited bagged National CSR awards 2020 organized by Ministry of Corporate Affairs for their stupendous contribution in the fields of Agriculture & Rural development, promotion of Sports & Women & Child Development.
National Aluminium Company Limited - NALCO was also awarded Honourable Mention for CSR in Aspirational Districts in Eastern India.
In the National CSR Awards (2020), the three-stage process has been carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the submissions by the companies and reports of the independent assessment by CSR experts and the Grand Jury, 20 award winners and 17 Honourable Mentions across the three award categories have been selected.
