State-owned Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd has indigenously developed the Helo Landing Grid in collaboration with Seetha Technologies, Chennai.
This vital innovation enables helicopters with harpoons to safely land and take off from helodecks, even in rough seas and adverse weather. A significant step towards self-reliance and conserving foreign exchange.
The HELO LANDING GRID is a critical item, that allows helicopters fitted with a harpoon to land or take off from a helideck in fully safe conditions, without assistance even in rough seas and bad weather. According to the announcement made on X, MDL has now successfully indigenized this item through M/s Seetha Technologies, Chennai.
Through this, the company has ensured a step toward a more resilient and capable Indian Defense Industry along with boosting Domestic Industry and strengthening National Security.
