As per the exchange filing made by the Bank Board, Shri Manoranjan Mishra has been nominated as Director on the Board of Bank of Baroda replacing Smt. Parvathy Sundaram.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of subsection (3) of section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970 and 1980, read with subparagraph (1) of paragraph 3 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme 1970 and 1980 the Central Government, vide notification No. 6/3/2011-BO.I dated 12.12.2024 has nominated Shri Manoranjan Mishra as Director on the Board of Bank of Baroda, with immediate effect and until further orders vice Smt. Parvathy Sundaram, according to the exchange filing made.

Shri Manoranjan Mishra is a retired Executive Director of the Reserve Bank of India.

Mr Mishra has a post-graduate degree in economics and an MBA in banking and finance. Additionally, he obtained a master’s degree in finance and financial regulation from Aston Business School in the United Kingdom. His strong academic qualifications have enhanced his abilities in the finance field.
