Kolhapur Airport: New Terminal Nearly Ready to Soar
New Delhi: The construction and other development work of the new terminal building at Kolhapur Airport of the Airports Authority of India is almost complete. This Rs 255 crore development project includes expansion of the runway, construction of a new apron, construction of a terminal building with an area of 3900 square meters and other works.
Read Also : RITES signs MoU with NISE for assuring quality in Green EnergyThis new terminal building of Kolhapur Airport will be able to provide uninterrupted services to 500 passengers per hour during peak hours and will take the air connectivity of the state to new heights.
This airport has also been identified under the regional connectivity scheme of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India - UDAN.
