BPCL's Kochi Refinery Sets Benchmark for Excellence in Operations and Social Responsibility

NEW DELHI- Kochi Refinery, won well-deserved accolades from Hon’ble Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Labor & Employment, Shri Rameswar Teli, when he visited the refinery recently. He acclaimed it as one of the most serene, cleanest and the finest refinery in the country.

Operated by BPCL, Kochi Refinery has long set a standard of excellence. This was established when the Hon’ble Minister of State highlighted that among 23 refineries he had visited he hailed KR the best as the refinery matched its brilliant reputation.

He was impressed by the fact that Kochi Refinery operation was optimized, energy-efficient and methodical praised its commitment to provide top-notch sustainable products to meet India’s energy needs.

He toured Kochi Refinery with Mr. Sanjay Khanna, Director Refineries and senior officials from the refinery and also interacted with 100 contract workmen.

Kochi Refinery, owned by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), is one of the largest public-sector oil refineries in India. It has been consistently delivering high-quality products to its customers while maintaining a high standard of safety and environmental sustainability.
