KIOCL Limited celebrated Hindi Pakhawada with great enthusiasm from September 14 to 29, 2024, organizing various activities and competitions to promote the Hindi language. The prize distribution ceremony for these events was held on September 30, 2024, in the presence of distinguished guests and company officials.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Ella Sen, former Dean (Indian Languages), Jyoti Nivas College, Shri G.V. Kiran, CMD, and Shri B.K. Mahapatra, Director (Commercial) Director (Finance) - Additional Charge. All other employees from various departments, were in attendance. In her address, Dr. Ella Sen highlighted the significance of learning Indian languages, particularly Hindi, in fostering national unity.
Shri G.V. Kiran, CMD, addressed the gathering, highlighting Hindi potential to serve as a unifying thread across India. He encouraged employees to embrace the language to strengthen national integration Additionally, Shri B.K. Mahapatra, Director (Commercial) and Director (Finance) Additional Charge, spoke on the concept of the nation-state and how learning Hindi can reinforce India unity in diversity.
