KIOCL celebrated Constitution Day

New Delhi: KIOCL celebrated Constitution Day at the Corporate Office, Bengaluru to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On the occasion, Shri GV Kiran, Chairman and Managing Director & Shri BK Mahapatra, Director (Commercial) & I/c Director (Finance) garlanded the bust of Dr BR Ambedkar in the premises of Pellet Auditorium. Shri SVR Chandra Sekhar, CVO, CGM, Sr Officers & employees paid floral tributes.

The preamble of the Constitution was read out in English, Hindi & Kannada. Release of the leaflet “Indian Constitution @75 years of Legacy” was released by CMD. Director (Commercial) & I/c Director (Finance) spoke on the importance of the constitution in a democratic country.

CVO articulated about the Fundamental Rights of the citizens & Directive Principles of State Policy of India under various Articles of the Constitution. CMD addressed the gathering highlighting the significance & importance of the Constitution.

Shri C Munikrishna, CGM(HR) inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp followed with garlanding the bust of Dr BR Ambedkar at KIOCL Township, Mangalore. The Preamble of the Constitution was read out by Sr officers. Shri C Munikrishna and Shri Shashidhar Hegde, GM (Production) addressed the gathering and highlighted on the importance of the Constitution Day. Sr officers, representatives from the union, SC/ST Employees Welfare Association, and employees were present on the occasion.
