Jyotsana Mahila Mandal of NCL Celebrates Its Annual Function

Singrauli: Jyotsana Mahila Mandal of Northern Coalfields Limited Headquarters celebrated its annual function, christened ‘Rimjhim ke Taraney’ this year, with éclat. The event, organised at Officer’s Club on Tuesday, Singrauli witnessed multiple cultural programme.
 
On this occasion, Dr. Nisha Thakur, President, CILOWS was present as Chief Guest while Vice President, CILOWS, Smt. Nupur Verma, Dr. Jyoti Dayal, Smt. Mahima Soni, President, Kriti Mahila Mandal NCL Smt. Sangita Sinha, Vice President, Kriti Mahila Mandal Smt. Pratima Pandey, Smt. Vimla Prasad, Smt. Neelu Thakur were present as guests of honour alongwith members of mahila mandal.
 
Encouraging women to be self-confident, Dr. Thakur said that hard work is key to success. She appealed all the women to have faith in themselves and put best efforts to be self dependent. Dr. Thakur praised the grandeur of the programme and congratulated team mahila mandal for their creativity.
 
Smt. Priyanka Giri was crowned Sawan Sundri in the event and prizes were also won through lucky draw. The fifth edition of annual souvenir of mahila mandal, 'Sankalp' was unveiled on this occasion and various cultural programmes were also organised.
 
Inaguration of Pathalogy Lab:
 
President, CILOWS, Dr. Nisha Thakur inaugurated Bio-Chemistry Analyzer in newly renovated Pathology Lab in Central Hospital. The analyzer examines blood and measures its various components such as sugar, cholesterol, protein, enzyme. On this occasion, Dr. Thakur distributed plant saplings and packets of millets among school children and educated them of the importance of good health and education.
