JSPL team made a strategic presentation on JSPL’s roadmap for 2030
New Delhi: Shri Dharmendra Pradhan appreciated the presentation made by the JSPL team led by Shri Naveen Jindal on JSPL’s roadmap for 2030. JSPL’s strategy is in sync with the PM’s vision of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat & Purvodaya, which will contribute to achieving India’s envisioned capacity of 300 MTPA by 2030.
"Glad that JSPL is going to focus on GreenSteel, as it moves towards achieving the envisioned capacity of 50 MTPA by 2030," Shri Pradhan said.
He further added, Suggested to focus on more value addition to low-grade fines, upgrade mining capacity & facilitate the development of capital goods & steel ancillary clusters.
The plan to increase JSPL’s steel plant capacity in Angul, Odisha more than four-fold to 25.2 MTPA, and make it the biggest single location steel plant in the world will fuel the development of eastern India in line with Mission Purvodaya. This will also create large-scale direct and indirect employment for the youth of Odisha.
