Joint Secretary, Coal Ministry, B.P. Pati inspected CERL Rail Corridor, took stock of FMC works

New Delhi: Shri Bhabani Prasad Pati, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Coal, who is on SECL visit reached the Raigarh area to take stock of the SECL CERL Rail Corridor on Monday. 

Firstly he reached Chhal Mine to inspect the ongoing construction works under FMC (First Mile Connectivity). After this, he visited all the sidings being built under the CERL rail corridor through tower car and observed the construction activities of the rail corridor.

Shri Pati held a meeting with senior officials of SECL and CERL Rail Corridor to know about the progress of all the projects and gave necessary guidelines for better coordination.

Along with this, he held a meeting with the officials of Pelma Collieries and learned about the progress of operation of Pelma opencast mine of the Raigarh area. Last year SECL was permitted to operate the Pelma opencast mine located in Raigarh area on MDO mode and for that agreement has been signed with Pelma Collieries.

Director (Finance) Shri G. Srinivasan, CERL/CEWRL CEO Shri Ravi Valluri, Regional General Manager Dr. Hemant Sharad Pandey, and other officials accompanied Sir during the visit.
