Jindal Rail Infrastructure Limited has won a prestigious Rs. 177 crore contract for manufacturing and supplying 17 End Unloading Rakes (EUR) using BRNAHS wagons. These specialized rakes, designed for transporting 260m rail panels, will be delivered within 12 months, bolstering Indian Railways’ operational efficiency.
The contract aims to enhance the efficiency of Indian Railways’ operations by ensuring the seamless transportation of long rail panels, which are crucial for infrastructure development and maintenance.
The total quantity includes 17 rakes, each priced at Rs. 10.43 crore which is classified into Bulkhead, Intermediate, Threader, Ramp, and Chute Wagons.
The delivery of these rakes will be completed within 12 months from the contract’s signing date. This includes time allocated for prototype approvals if required.
