IRCTC signs agreement with External Ministry to operate Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train
IRCTC and the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India have entered into an MOU for operating a special Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train “Pravasi Bhartiya Express" to showcase the rich cultural heritage of India to the Indian Diaspora.
The MOU was signed by Shri Sanjay Kumar Jain, CMD/ IRCTC, and Secretary (CPV, OIA) Shri Arun Kumar Chatterjee.
This Special Train will be operated on the occasion of Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas under the scheme of Pravasi Teerth Darshan Yojana of MEA. The train will commence on a 15-day journey on 09.01.25 from Delhi and will be covering Heritage and Pilgrimage places of 7 Indian states.
