Indian Railways reduces advance ticket booking period from 120 to 60 days
Indian Railways has halved the advanced ticket booking period. Passengers will now be able to book train tickets up to 60 days in advance, instead of the previous 120 days. This change will take effect from November 1. Until October 31, passengers can continue to book tickets for journeys up to 120 days in advance. However, cancellations for bookings made beyond the new 60-day Advance Reservation Period will still be allowed.
