Indian Navy signs MoU with NARL to use latest technology in atmospheric science
The MoU was signed on 23 December 2024 at 1500 IST at NARL, Gadanki by Commodore Abhinav Barve, DNOM, and Dr. Amit Kumar Patra, Director of NARL.
The Indian Navy represented by the Directorate of Naval Oceanology and Meteorology (DNOM), Govt of India and National Atmospheric Research Laboratory (NARL), Dept of Space, Govt of India has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for utilizing the latest developments in the field of atmospheric sciences.
The MoU was signed on 23 December 2024 at 1500 IST at NARL, Gadanki by Commodore Abhinav Barve, DNOM, and Dr. Amit Kumar Patra, Director of NARL.
Through this MoU, DNOM aims to utilize the ‘State-of-the-art’ infrastructure, knowledge, and expertise available at NARL towards developing advanced tools of atmospheric data analysis for the use of the Indian Navy and upgrading the skills of its personnel.
