HUDCO Issues Record Date For Dividend, Shares Rise 118% YTD

Leading PSU HUDCO shares offered 118% year-to-date (YTD) and surged 594% in the last 2-years only. HUDCO fixed September 13, 2024, as the record date for the final dividend.

The PSU has a market capitalization of Rs 56,383.51 crore. Earlier, HUDCO on May 24 recommended a final dividend of Rs 2.65 per equity share on the face value of Rs 10/- each for the financial year 2023-24.

Housing & Urban Development Corporation Sets Record Date For Final Dividend: As per the regulatory filing of, HUDCO set September 13, 2024, as the record date for the final dividend of Rs 2.65 per equity share.

The final dividend on equity shares, as recommended by the Board of Directors, if declared at the AGM, will be paid within 30 days of declaration to the members.

According to the exchange filing of HUDCO dated May 24, 2024, "The Board of Directors also recommended final dividend @ Rs 2.65/- per equity share (subject to deduction of TDS) on the face value of Rs.10/- each, for the financial Year 2023- 24, subject to approval of shareholders in the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM). The final dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of Rs.1.50/- per equity share already declared and paid for the Financial Year 2023-24."

 The PSU informed via its BSE filing that its Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on September 25, 2024.

Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. announced a total of 13 dividends on September 14, 2017. In the last 1-year, HUDCO announced an equity dividend amounting to Rs 4.60 per share. At the current share price of Rs 280.65, HUDCO offers a dividend yield of 1.64%.

 The 52-week high price of HUDCO shares on BSE is Rs 353.95 apiece (as of 12/07/2024) and the 52-week low price is 67.70 apiece (as of 13/09/2023).

HUDCO shares fell 10% in the last 1-month, surged 47% in the last 6 months, gained 267% in the last 1-year, and rallied 558% in last 3-years. HUDCO stock offered its highest return in the last 5-years with a 675% rally.
