Consequently, EBITDA margin expanded 30 basis points to 27.4 percent in Q2FY25, from 27.1 percent in Q2FY24.

State-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd announced the September quarter results on Thursday, which saw an increase on a year-on-year basis on most parameters. Revenue for the quarter increased by 6% from last year to Rs 5,976.3 crore. The company had reported a topline of Rs 5,635.7 crore during the same period last year.
Net profit for the period rose by 22% compared to last year, reaching Rs 1,510.5 crore, up from Rs 1,236.7 crore. This growth in net profit was supported not only by an increase in revenue but also by a decrease in finance costs and an uptick in other income for the public defense company.

Consequently, EBITDA margin expanded 30 basis points to 27.4 percent in Q2FY25, from 27.1 percent in Q2FY24.
HAL shares were trading 2.37 percent higher at Rs 4,161.85 per share. In comparison, BSE Sensex was trading 0.07 percent lower at 77,636.21 levels.
