ADIPEC: Hardeep Singh Puri inaugurates Indian Pavilion at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi

New Delhi/ Abu Dhabi: Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Shri Hardeep Singh Puri inaugurated the Indian Pavilion at ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi yesterday. He said, Delighted to inaugurate the India Pavilion in ADIPEC, driven by the visionary leadership of PM Narendra Modi, India has emerged as the centre of demand for energy growth & presents vast opportunities for present & future collaborations.

Many big & small Indian energy entities from both the public & private sector including several MSMEs are showcasing the potential & opportunities of India’s robust energy sector.

Indian energy entities- big MNCs & smaller MSMEs were presented in full strength. 

"With 25% of global energy demand growth in 2020-40 to come from India world takes note of potential India holds", he said.

Minister also met the Chairman & CEO of Total Energies Mr Patrick Pouyanné in Abu Dhabi. Discussed ways to expedite the Mozambique project, India’s largest energy investment abroad. Minister Puri also invited them to participate in the bidding for the one million sqkm ‘no go’ area now open for exploration.
