GRSE's another milestone; undertakes docking of 110 m long Large Survey Vessel
New Delhi: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers, one of India's leading shipyards, located in Kolkata, West Bengal achieved another significant milestone on the eve of its 63rd Raising Day.
The shipyard undertakes docking of 110 metre long Large Survey Vessel ‘Sandhayak’ at Dock No 2 of its Rajabagan Dockyard (RBD) Unit.
GRSE mentioned, this feat has transformed RBD unit into a full-fledged independent Yard to accomplish docking activities of similar large ships in the future to meet the maritime requirements on India’s Eastern Seaboard and thereby reiterating the Shipyard’s commitment to nation-building.
The leading shipyard is the first Indian shipyard to build 100 warships and delivered to Indian Navy, Indian Coast Guard and friendly foreign countries.
