GRID-India Strengthening Energy Partnerships

GRID-INDIA's delegation is in Tanzania for two weeks, gathering insights from key energy stakeholders—policymakers, regulators, utilities, academics, and the private sector to identify needs and best practices, also strengthening energy partnerships:
This initiative is partnered with Ministry of External Affairs, GoI, USAID, and Government of Tanzania under the Triangular Development Partnership (TriDeP) on Clean and Renewable Energy, in collaboration with The Asia Foundation.

The visit began with meetings with Mr. Manoj B. Verma, Charge d’Affaires of the Indian High Commission to Tanzania, and Mr. Plato Hieronymus, Acting Director of the Economic Growth Office, USAID Tanzania, to discuss the Indian experience of integrating renewables.

The official launch of the Triangular Cooperation on Clean and Renewable Energy is scheduled for July 17th in Dar es Salaam.
